This course will be taught by Certified Fall Protection and Worker Rescue Trainer Inger Brandal on from 8am to 5 pm Monday, April 15 at the Cornish College Playhouse and will focus on Worker Rescue including the hierarchy of rescue planning, assisted rescue and suspended rescue. The training focuses on the G4 Rescue and Evacuation System, including primary and secondary systems, anchorage, Petzl I’D Descender, Z-rig, Short Haul System and rope management. Participants will develop rescue plans specific to their individual workplace.
Registrants must have completed the Introduction to Fall Protection course.

  • This is a one day class from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with a one hour walk away lunch.
  • Attendees should bring their own harness and climbing helmet if they have them. Shared equipment will also be available for use.
  • Please wear appropriate clothing, gloves and footwear suitable for climbing.
