In this two day course, using scaffolding pieces at 1/3 normal scale, you will learn how to safely build scaffolding structures common to the entertainment and exhibition industry and how to recognize and avoid the most common hazards. Taught by Local 488 journeyman and certified trainer, Rickey Lepinski, this training meets and exceeds all requirements of OSHA CFR 1926 Subpart L. After passing the course, students will receive a scaffold operator card that is good for three years.
Class is limited in size to 10 students so register soon!
This course is part of the curriculum of the Local 15 Apprenticeship Program. While this class is open to all, workers who have signaled their intent to register in the Local 15 Apprenticeship program will get priority.
The first two day Scaffold Class will be held on Monday, April 22 and Tuesday, April 23 from 8 am to 5 pm in Room 240 at the Seattle Labor Temple.
