Our Goals

Our goal is to provide training to all workers in western Washington in the theatrical, concert, and trade show business. We will provide introductory training for novice workers and advanced training for experienced workers.

Our goal is to provide a workforce that is:

• Certified to operate the equipment.
• Trained to work safely
• Proud of their skills
• Provided opportunities for advancement
• Interested in their tasks
• Able to make the show or event happen

Our goal is to develop the training tools needed for instruction of workers. We will develop power point presentations, prepare instruction manuals, and build working models. We will locate and train instructors.

Our goal is to develop and provide resources to assist with training. We will create a library, provide a classroom, provide class room equipment, and provide information online.

Our goal is to establish contact with all the workers. We will utilize regular mail, e-mail, websites, backstage bulletin boards and online forums.
